Greek media reported that the body of a 27-year-old Polish woman (Ανασταζία) was found on the island of Kos. Anastasia Rubińska disappeared on June 12.

Anastazja Rubińska from Wroclaw disappeared on Monday, June 12, in Marmari on the Greek island of Kos, where she was working in a hotel restaurant. The woman was accompanied by a 28-year-old female companion. He notified local authorities.
“Anastasia was last seen before 23:00 on the island of Kos. Most likely, she was riding a motorcycle with a Bangladeshi man. He was only supposed to drive her to the meeting place with her boyfriend. Anastasia’s last phone connection showed a different location than her whereabouts, she made an appointment with her partner from Poland,” the Facebook profile “Missing – Let’s Help Find Them” reported Thursday.
Greek police have already arrested a 32-year-old Bangladeshi national in the case, who is the main suspect. At her home, officers found two knives, a yellow sweatshirt with a stain and blond hair, and a plane ticket to Italy purchased after the woman disappeared. Investigators accused the man of kidnapping Anastasia Rubińska.
Missing Anastasia Rubińska has died
On Sunday, the portal kathimerini.gr, quoted by Wyborcza.pl, reported the tragic end of the search for a Polish woman. A woman has been found dead on the island of Kos. Local police said the 27-year-old’s naked body was found under a tree in a wetland.
“The place is about a kilometer away from the house where the 32-year-old occupant lived. According to the same sources, the body of the 27-year-old was covered with branches. Half was in a black bag and the other half was outside. In the last hours, authorities focused their investigation on an abandoned camp near the house of an arrested Bangladeshi citizen. They also examined wells in the area,” it said.
