The Carter family is mourning the loss of another loved one. Bobbie Jean Carter, the sister of the famous brothers Nick and Aaron Carter, has died at the age of just 41. This tragic loss comes just one year after the death of her brother Aaron Carter, who drowned in November 2022 at the age of 34.
Bobbie Jean, also known as BJ, died on Saturday morning in Florida, USA. The exact circumstances of her death are still unclear. Her mother, Jane Carter, expressed in an emotional statement: “I am shocked by the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean, and I need time to process the terrible reality that this is happening for the third time”.
Bobbie Jean leaves behind a young daughter named Bella. Jane Carter asked the public for prayers for her eight-year-old granddaughter, who has already lost her father and now must grow up without her mother.
Bobbie Jean was active in her family’s music industry, particularly for her brother Aaron, for whom she worked as a wardrobe stylist and makeup artist during his tours in the early 2000s. She also appeared on the family’s reality TV show, “House of Carters”. In recent years, however, Bobbie Jean lived a rather private life away from the spotlight.
This renewed loss is another blow for the Carter family, who already lost Aaron last year and Leslie, another sister, in 2012 due to an overdose. Now only Nick and Angel remain as living siblings of the family.
