Authorities issued a missing person report Sunday for a 17-year-old girl believed to have been abducted by a 20-year-old man in Garland.
Authorities said Yadhira Medina may be in danger.
Garland police were called about 8:30 p.m. Saturday to the 3200 block of West Buckingham Road, where Yadhira was being dragged into a white pickup truck, according to a witness.
She is Hispanic, has reddish-brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. She is 5-11 tall and weighs 150 pounds. Yadhira was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black sweatpants and carrying a black backpack.
Police are searching for 20-year-old David Maldonado in connection with the kidnapping. Maldonado is Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-7 and 160 pounds.
Another person was driving the white pickup truck that left the area and headed west on Buckingham Road, police said in a news release.
